*RUMOR* Trotz to stay Preds coach

Rumor has it that the Preds are picking up the one year option on Barry Trotz and his contract. This means that the coaching staff will be together one more season before the org. will decide whether or not to let Trotz and his staff go. Expect more after the 2 pm PC. Just to clarify, this is a rumor, but I did get it from a qualified media source.
After seeing Leipold's comments in the paper on Monday I don't know how much of a rumor this is...he all but said Barry was coming back. http://predjoe.wordpress.com/
There is a press conference today at 2, so I expect an official announcement at that time. I think it was still up in the air even after Leipold's comments because he admitted they hadn't evaluated anything yet.....
True...to be honest I'm not real sure how I feel about it. I think at some point you have to look at things and say we have gone one and done three years in a row...who is held accountable for that? I have a half written blog that I should be posting later today about the whole Trotz issue. I'm going to wait till after the announcement so my blog will be current, and I'll have to rewrite it a bit.....
Honestly, I can't fault Trotz. He should get one more year, but how depleted are the Preds going to be?He should be living on borrowed time.
Agree with Jsaquella, all Nashville's playoff troubles may or may not be Trotz but I bring him back another year with the bulk of this team intact. This was a championship "caliber" team and will be again next year.
