Ok we all know who were talking about! How does a coach make that call at that time, in that game, when it mattered most? Did he have some inside info? If so I hope you fired that guy! If not, you're fired! I am sick of seeing great players die under this mans poor strategies and lack of foresight! And I'm even more sick of seeing other players flourishing under the helm of another coach!
This starts at the top, I know, Lowe has done nothing lately to help this team out (Horcoff's contract, and just the lack of size he has put into the team), but I believe the players would benifit from a fresh new system. And Tambellini is caught in the middle.
And NO we the fans are not being too fickle or too harsh on our team! Any other hockey loving/understanding city could empathize! Or probably feel more obligated to form a lynch mob and oust this man before he ruins our beloved franchise! No wonder Hemsky wants out! MacTavish is trying to make him a checker and Lowe continues to believe that Horcoff is a first line centre where on any other team he is a second line center at best!
As fans we feel connected to this franchise as it (and hockey itself) has become an integral part of our heritage and upbringing. So please! fellow fans (or Daryll Katz even, you have the power to end this!) let us remove this ineffecive coaching/management staff before Lowe attempts to make a comeback or MacT puts Gilbert on Left Wing!!
The sign of a true delusional fan: I am sick of seeing great players die under this mans poor strategies and lack of foresight! Our players aren't great (for now.... except maybe Hemsky)
nice read....I can agree with you. I think you guys underachieved this season and in large part due to coaching although I do not get to see a ton of your games. The games I did see however looked like short of 60 minutes. The upside is that you have some good skaters on the roster (not sure of your FA and RFA statuses) so some tweaking in the coaching area would do some good. And like us, another 1st liner or two wouldn't hurt either.
