Hardly the statistics you'd see on an all-star player - but that's what Joe DiPenta is: a locker-room all-star.
The 6'2" 202 pound defender - who won a Cup with Anaheim in 2007 - is still fondly remembered in Anaheim not for his presence on the ice, but off it. Even after leaving the Ducks, he continued to do charity work for the Ducks organization in the form of a Lasagna Dinner hosted at an exclusive restaurant in Anaheim, with the proceeds going to a subdivision of the Boys & Girls Club of Anaheim.
Throughout his NHL career, DiPenta has worked tirelessly on the ice and still made his presence known off it.
His signing may not make waves in Buffalo - but he'll become just as fond to Buffalo fans as he was in Anaheim.
