It looks like Canucks are making huge atempts for offence. For example:
Paul Kariya - 40% - Would work very well as hometown boy
Scott Gomez - 25% - Would bring some good offence to Vancouver
Anson Carter - 25% - Could work with Sedins, cheaper
Ladislav Nagy - 20% - Would bring good offence
Wes Walz - 10% - Always plays good against the Canucks
Ruslan Fedotenko - 10% - Would work good with Naslund I think
Vincent Lecavalier - 05% - Don't need to explain
Nik Antropov - 20% - Could do some damage on offence
Mats Sundin - 10% - Don't need to explain
All offensive players they're looking at signing.
Also they're looking at a backup goalie for Roberto Luongo, I mean those 5 saves in the final game of the playoffs in overtime against the Ducks did make everyone see something in him. But I think that they something a little better.
Robert Esche - 20% - Can backup Luongo
And about resigning players
Jan Bulis - 30% - Skilled, with some nice moves
Taylor Pyatt - 70% - Very good last season with the Sedins
Bryan Smolinski - 20% - Good player
Brent Sopel - 50% - Likes it in Vancouver, pretty stelar
Gomez Naslund Fedetenko would be a good line. Would put pressure off the Sedins to perform with Pyatt. It's not that I'm not a fan of Kariya, I just think we need some more size/power vs. skill/speed. Fed's fast too. Nagy I would pass on. Walz too. Sundin as well. Antropov's good, maybe good with the Sedins. Vinny and Fedetenko would be a godsend :)
Ya, I've noticed that Nagy's not that tough, but he is skilled. I would pass on him too. He's a way better fit for Edmonton. Sundin won't leave Toronto anyway. But ya that Gomez Naslund Fedetenko line would be awesome.
great blog canuck I think that gomez would be a great fit in van
