The Philadelphia Flyers are the beast of the east right now and any team that flies into the Wells Fargo Area gets scared. The Flyers are a very talented team with the likes of Chris Pronger, Jeff Carter just to name a few, nobody ever expected them to make the run they did last season going all the way to a game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final then falling short, to a speedy Hawks team. The Flyers of last year are very similar to the Flyers of this year, the big question coming into this season was goaltending, early on the Flyers faced injurys in net. Then when we all thought they were in trouble it was like a gift from god, out of nowhere emerged this young Russian goalie Sergei "Bob" Bobrovsky lets just say he gained attention real quick and stole the show. Now the questions arise can the Flyers stay on top, continue to dominate the East, Atlantic Division and the rest of the NHL or are they going to free fall to the bottom? I guess we will find out if the Broad Street Bullies are for real or just for show come playoff time.

What are you talking about. The Flyers aren't playing like last at this time last year we were one of the worst teams in the NHL. Homer has improved the defense by bringing in Mezaros and O'Donnell. We have good depth on offense. 8 players on the team have already 10 goals and Nodl has 9. How can you compare this years team with last years team. Bobs and Boucher are a great 1 2 tandem. Your from Canada, your team is the Oilers, don't get mad that we are better

a lot of people expected them to make the finals last year it was just during the season when emery went down and then the coaching change that people had their doubts. also they lost in game 6 not game 7.

If you're going to blog, a) get your facts straight and b) learn how to write in complete sentences. Both increase your credibility, and thus, people will continue to read your posts.

Daryl was not rowed because of his decisions of the core but because of NTC contacts. Otherwise there the same person.

I'm not hating on him. I'm saying that he doesn't know FLYERS hockey. I'm not talking about the playoffs now...

The Flyers will choke? You must be kidding right? Top to bottom there is no team that matches up with the Flyers except for maybe Vancouver. Even still they have the most points in the league right now, the best goal differential and haven't lost two regulation games in a row since November! They have 15 guys on the roster that were on last year's team and know what it takes to win in the playoffs. Good luck finding another team to beat them in a 7 game series!
