There, now that's out of the way down to business.
Edmonton Oilers...
The news on the possibility of the Oilers acquiring Cam Barker intrigues me. This former 3rd overall selection of the Chicago Blackhawks has had some injury troubles but is young and I believe he was not put into a big enough role in Minnie or Chicago. His 1yr 3mill. contract is certainly manageable for the Oilers and there certainly is always room for a younger defenceman with a brilliant upside and in this case, low risk. His numbers:

A:73
I would have claimed him off waivers, but maybe a trade for a 6th or even Brule, as Mr.Coutier or Boner, had pointed out.
