Can the leafs survive without Reimer?

While neither goalie has proven themselves to be a top flight NHL starter, there is a twist to the story.
Reimer, once thought to be nothing more but a future backup goalie is the Leafs number one guy.
Monster, once thought to be their future number one goalie is starting to look like nothing more then a possible back up.
My question is, Do you think Monster can show up and steal some games if Reimer was ever to be out for a long term injury? or are the leafs just going to fall down the standings fast?
