Is a shorter season better

Im quite amazed and highly enjoying the higher than expected level of competitiveness from the players this early in the season.Heck didn't Betts ( Bettman) suggest that the quality of product might suffer or diminish because of a shortened season? I say not in fact I'm ready to shorten the season next year to 67 games. Yes and I'll tell you why. Playoff bonus money. That's right folks, you and I are paying a premium dollar to watch or attend so why should I get anything less than the best product my money can buy. Pure spirited competition from these hockey players these last two weeks partly and you can decide how much is the fact that they know starting this late the only chance to recover some of that lost money from the lock out, I'll repeat LOCKED OUT... is to collect those playoff bonus bucks. I might suggest that the owners knew in October the players would be hungrier January but I think we all agree this lock out was part duex from the last lock out. Oh you forgot that a 50-50 split took the owners 2 lock outs to get. It wont be as easy next lock out to hold the staff for ransom suggesting a less than half split of the pie at the end of this CBA. So folks my prediction is why have an 82 game schedule and a bunch of meaningless pre season games when we can motivate a higher caliber of game much earlier in the schedule. 67 games no long trips on the road, more home games.
The best product my money can buy.
