Oilers predicted off season moves and projected 14/15 roster

The oilers have missed the post season for eight years straight and macT is going to be very busy this summer if he doesn't want the same fate at the end of next season. So I am going to predict some of the trades and signings he is going to make this offseason and ask what I would like to see him do.
First of- draft Leon draisaitl he could slide right in to the 2c role next season. ( some might think I'm crazy for saying that)
Reason-the oilers desperately need size and strength up the middle and draisaitl could be and Instant impact to the lineup.
First trade- Gagner + 2015 1st to NSH for josi + 2014 3rd
With the drafting of draisaitl the oilers no longer need gagners services and will use him as a " bold move " with Nashville also helps oilers on the back end without tearing up their young core
Second trade- 2014 3rd+Martin Gernat for Kyle Clifford
This bulks up our bottom six with a player that was almost an oiler anyways
Third trade- cal clutterbuck for Taylor fedun
Signings- Matt niskanen ( 3.5/4 years)
Nikita Nikitin ( 2.5/2 years)
David moss. ( 2.125/2 years
Resignings- justin Schultz (4.5/ 6 years)
Jeff petry. ( 2.5/ 4 years)
Luke gazdic (950k/2 years)
Opening night roster 2014/15
T. Hall - R. Nugent. Hopkins - J. Eberle
D. Perron - L. Draisaitl - N. Yakupov
K. Clifford - B. Gordon - C. Clutterbuck

This roster looks a lot better than lasts and hopefully it actually happens depending on what happens with every other trades and signings.

If that is the Oilers offer for Niskanen his agent would laugh and hang up. For that price he probably could stay with the Pens or get a much better offer from a lot of teams. Niskanen is going to get offers over 4 up to 5 mil a year (maybe even a bit more) on the open market on longer term than 4 years. He sits at the top of the defense UFA market and will be in high demand from a lot of teams.

Matt Niskanen would laugh at that offer. He could bring in 5-6M on July 1st. Taylor Fedun for Cal Cluterbuck also dosent even come close, Fedun 25 has yet to play a full NHL season. Cal Clutterbuck is already a proven 3rd liner.

I highly doubt Leon draisaitl comes in and makes that much of an impact, and the oilers need veteran help not more raw rookies in there opening inight roster. With the way the oilers have been going last 5 years , you really thinks its good to trade away a chance at Conner McDavid.

Nashville would not trade Josi. Without a defenceman going back even. Nope. Niskanen triple that offer. But i love the passion from oiler fans. Keep these coming, its a long summer.
