how do these guys like roman hamrlik get a contract like one he has 5.5 million?

your gonna spend that kind of money for a guy like him but not that uch or more for sheldon souray?
another thing.. why are hl teams drafting kids in high school? i mean your gona have to wait a good 2 or 3 years for him...AT LEAST so why not draft an NHL ready guy who can play a solid 2-3 years then you trade him?
