The Oilers need a new blogger!

Welcome to my 1st blog at HockeyBuzz. I’m a life-long Oiler fan who surfs the net a lot reading the forums at hfboards.com, Sportsnet.ca, EdmontonOilers.com, and here at Hockeybuzz as well as other hockey news sites. I’ve never had the urge to create a user account before at any of these sites, but recently I started thinking that it would be fun to do some blogging to record my thoughts on the Oilers.
I realize that Scott Pattison is the Oilers blogger here, but since the season ended he rarely posts. So here I am to fill the void. I have no idea on how long I will keep this up, or if anyone will even see this, but I think Oiler fans need a regular blogger. So why not me?
I have no inside info, but I do follow the team very closely, and I like to get into stats. So, if you have any Oiler questions that need a bit of number crunching or deeper analysis, feel free to post some blog ideas.
It looks like it’s shaping up to be a good year to be an Oiler fan.
