Rumor has it, The Vancouver Canucks are in trade talks with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Newly appointed GM Bowman is looking to make a few changes, and free up some highly needed cap space.

Speculating what might be sent in return for these two,

To Hawks,
Cory Schneider
Rick Rypien
1st round pick 2010

To Canucks,
Barker
Byfuglien

Why the canucks would do it?
Canucks acquire one of the most versitile players in the league in Byfuglien.
Canucks acquire a puck moving d-man

Why The Hawks would do it?
Hawks drop 5 million dollars in Salary.
Hawks Get a much needed backup goalie who can perhaps develop into the goalie they have been waiting for.
Hawks gain another 1st round pick, something that can be dealt at the deadline for additional help on their back-end later on.
Hawk gain overall team toughness with the acquisition of Rick Rypien

Rypien is really pure speculation, as the Canucks have shown really committment to this guy over the last few years. Mason Raymond could also be added or removed from this mix.
