Flyers Offseason Plan: 2012 Edition

The Cole Audesirk 2012 Flyers Offseason Plan.
1. Letting Matt Carle Walk. : He is an UFA, who will be looking for a raise off of his current contract of about $3.5 million, plus his lackluster playoff play has left me wanting him to leave.
2. Let Pavel Kubina Walk. : Temporary aging defenseman, not needed in the long run.
3. Bury Andreas Lilja in the minors/Buy his contract out. : He's old, awful, and slow skating. Not needed.
4. Resign RFA's Voracek and Zolniercyk.
5. Resign UFA Jaromir Jagr : Sparked Giroux this year.
6a. Package a deal for Shea Weber's rights. : Shoot JVR, Gustafsson, Wellwood for the rights, he's Shea Weber, worth it.
6b. Sign UFA Mike Green. : Puck moving defenseman that held down the fort in Washington.
7. Sign UFA Paul Gaustad. : Scrappy player who will muck in the boards, puts 120% into the game.
8. Give Claude Giroux the C. :He deserves it, look at his play for evidence.
