I said this once i'll say it again Its time to bring Hockey back to its roots.
Yes there are several successfull franchises down in the states, But for several Failing franchises that are seriously looking to sell Its time to look at its roots, Canada.
You have three failing franchises as far as loseing big time money in Phoniex, Atlanta, Columbus. I can name three Canadian cities Dying to Add teams, Winnipeg, Quebec City,
and Hamilton. All Three would have the fan base to support such teams The three would have owners that would rival any the NHL has now in Thompson ( Winnepeg), Quebeccorp (Quebec), Basillie(Hamilton), The three cities have the bussiness support and the Population in the surrounding areas. Of the three only one has never been given the chance to support a major League team (Hamilton.)
Instead of trying to make it work in these cities MR Bettman has to satisfy the other 27 team owners and take the burden off of them to make these teams viable and realize that these teams would help everyone in the NHL and their Imaige better, richer, more professional.
