July 1st is the other Christmas Day in Canada and it looks to be very interesting for the Yellow and Gold. Right now it seems the Bruins will be looking to add a top 4 dman and a bottom 6 forward either through free agency or trade. Some of the names i have been hearing linked to the Bruins are Arron Asham who provides some much needed grit and some scoring ability and will come with a reasonable cap hit and the other is Tomas Kaberle which i believe will not end up in Boston based on Brian Burke's asking price. Look for the Bruins to make a push for either Paul Martin or Jordan Leopold, i believe if Boston can move Thomas look for Martin to be the guy they target if not i expect the Bruins to offer the more cap friendly Leopold a contract. Another forward who a few years ago almost signed with the Bruins was Mike Modano and he could be in the mix this time around at a much more reasonable salary. Free agency begins at 12 noon Eastern on Canada's Birthday, enjoy!
