Ok, lots of people seem to think this guy is less then he is... I'm gonna go through a quick analysis of my own... hopefully some of you will see this guy the way I do. Durability and Injury Now... lots of ppl, who cheer for whatever team they cheer for seem to think this guy is easily injured. He isn't. He has been injured twice, both have been freak injuries....

Colaiacovo breakout season?

Leaf fans know all too well the saga of Carlo Colaiacovo. A high Leaf draft pick with tons of expectations thrown his way, only to see his career sidelined by injury after injury. Still only 25 years of age, he hopes to put all the setbacks behind him and emerge as a new Leaf star on the blueline. With the recent departure of Bryan McCabe, Carlo should see plenty of ic...

Many, including myself, predicted Steen to establish himself as a 60-point guy who is responsible in his ow...

Leafs ever changing

It's been a rough first part of the season for Carlo Colaiacovo and now his brief tenure with his beloved Maple Leafs comes to a crashing halt. Nothing had to be said between us as I saw Carlo yesterday afternoon. Watery eyes, a shrug of the shoulders, our e...
Two years ago, the Blues fleeced the Maple Leafs in a deal that sent Lee Stempniak to Toronto for Alex Steen and Carlo Colaiacovo. At the time, I might have been the only person in St. Louis who liked that deal. I felt Stempniak was a flash in the pan, and that either Steen or Cola straight up would have been a good trade. But Stempniak was a fan favorite in the STL, proba...
