Sheldon Souray to New Jersey.
This statement has been repeated more than a few times in the chat room and many of us rumour hounds smelled a signing. But it still hasn't happened. Why? Well, on Friday last week, I was roaming around hockeybuzz noticing that nothing was going on, and I silently wished for some action. Boy, was that a mistake. Well it appears we have gotten to the point where I will write a blog on my 2nd favorite team...the Buffalo Sabres.

Souray is probably either to L.A. or San Jose, but New Jersey, NYI, and NYR have all made pitches.
Burke may not trade before start of season but instead will send people down to AHL to clear salary
Burke is still talking to 4th line players.
