Ron Hextall OUT as Flyers GM

In a shocking move Monday the Flyers relieved their General Manager Ron Hextall of his duties. Hextall took over as the Flyers General Manager in May 2014 replacing Paul Holmgren who is currently the President of the Flyers. The Flyers have not made the 2nd round of the playoffs since 2012.

The Penguins are 1-1 in their first 2 games of the 2018-2019 season. The Penguins were able to squeak out a win against Washington in a 7-6 goal fest. Saturday the Penguins were absolutely blasted by Montreal 5-1. Matt Murray has allowed 11 goals in 2 games to start the year, but is he to blame?
