This morning, it was announced by the Buffalo Sabres that Jack Eichel will not be available due to an upper-body injury. With this injury possibly being longer than originally expected, the media is now all over the possibility of Eichel being traded. Tanking for the first-overall pick has cursed the Buffalo Sabres, which landed them with second-overall. If somebody told you in 2009 that the Edmonton Oilers would have four first-overall draft picks in 6 years, you'd probably laugh at them. Well, we now live that horrendous reality, and only half of those players selected first-overall still play with the Oilers.
