Best Hockey Memories

Taking my mom to her first game at HSBC Arena. Sabres lost 3-2 to the Devils, but it was still a wonderful time. Second to that was losing in overtime in the Championship game to the Rebels 7-6. We should have won the game in regulation, but their goaltender made three or four amazing saves in the final minute to send it into overtime. We ran out of gas. But it was great to get there and give a team that everyone expected to blow us out an actual game.

I was mostly a stay at home defenseman, but I had (and still have) a cannon of a shot. I was also very protective of my goalie and stood up for the rest of my teammates.
