The Rangers pick up after a somewhat poor, somewhat un-lucky performance against Ottawa.

Tampa Bay 3
Battle of the sunshine state. Johan Holmqvist is the savior in Tampa so far this season. Well he, along with one of the best top lines in hockey at the moment. Florida doesn't stand a chance.

A weak Minnesota offense doesn't do much justice, but Backstrom holds it down all through the extra session, however Minny can't break it out on the shoot out and wind up falling to the Oil.
San Jose 3
Was it a mistake to move Toskala to TOR for the Sharks? Nabakov might need a few breaks this season, and with a no-name backup, SJ could be in trouble. Tonight they get a break!

Los Angeles 3
The lifeless offense of the Dallas Stars proves to be just that - lifeless. LA dominates this one, and rookie J. Bernier get's his first NHL Shutout.

Chris Mason is proving he is well worth the #1 title he has in Nashville with another outstanding performance between the pipes.

Getting Giggy with it. Giggy back in action for the quacks gives them a dominant win that they very much needed.

Tight game till the net becomes empty and the Flyers bang home the icing on the cake. Biron's break out game with 34 saves.
