Now with some more updates I'll come again with some more FA signings.
Hannan (COL)-Scott Hannan is one of the most underrated defensemen in the National HOckey League. He is a great two-way blueliner and high marks to the Avs for signing this guy.
Grade:A+
Smyth (COL)-This one is interesting. "Captain Canada" becomes "Captain Colorado" and gives Joe Sakic a linemate that can help him. Finally, because Milan Hejduk really isn't himself anymore and Svatos is questoionable with the injury problems. Great job!
Grade: A
Rafalski (DET)-Excellent move by Holly to go and grab a d-man after Schneider left for the West Coast. Rafalski is the same as Schneider but younger and better. Great D-partner with Lidstrom.
Grade: A+
Perrault (CHI)-The second best faceoff man in the NHL (next to Rod the Bod) comes to a place where they haven't had a solid number one center since Stan Mikita (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating). But is he the answer?
