Let us take a quick look at the 09/10 Leafs depth chart and possible moves;

Now barring any more signings or trades this is what our team looks like. We all know the rumors that are out there. We have 7 - 9 D-men who can play in the NHL which is a nice problem to have. My thoughts are that Oreskovic, and Frogren will start the year in the AHL, Van Ryn and Kaberle will be traded. Out of the forwards Stempniak, Stuart, Stajan and Poni are all in trouble.
Surprises of camp could well be Bozak, Stahlberg or Stefanovich.
The leafs are in position with some CAP space to absorb some salary in order to get a better value in a trade. Burke will not be pressured or rushed which is a nice change of pace for the Leafs.
Please leave me your proposals, here is what I'd so;
Trade Kaberle, Stajan and rights to Vorobiev to Pittsburgh for Staal, Tangradi and a 2010 conditional pick. The pick is a second rounder, however if the Pens can sign Vorobiev then the pick turns into a 1st. Vorobiev could be swayed to come play for a championship team with fellow Russian Malkin.
Trade Van Ryn to Minnesota for a third round pick and a conditional fourth in 2010. The conditional pick would be based on Health/Games played for Van Ryn.
Sign Gustavsson to platoon with Toskala, and move Toskala at deadline.
Trade Kadri, Ponikarovsky, DiDomenico, White and 2010 1st (top 5 protected) to LA for Handzus, Schenn and the rights to Johnson.
Trade Johnson to Florida for Horton and a 2nd round pick in 2010
