Pretty good picks. Not bad if the Rangers take another local kid in the first round. I do like that Jake Gardiner kid though http://wcco.com/seenon/hockey.star.minnetonka.2.628226.html. I have a feeling about Staal too Bloo. Only thing I would hate is to see Greg Nemisz go to Philly, another typical Flyer pick. Hope the Rangers take him

You have the Habs drafts 3 centers and 2 RWs?Agreed, the Habs are deep in defence prospects, and don;t really need a goalie with Price, Halak and Denis... but I do not think they would draft only forwards. While Dechamps may be 6", he is a bean pole... not sure that is what the Habs are looking for... besides, in most recent draft reviews I have seen, Dechamps is more like a mid-second roudner, than a first round pick.Bob likes the big kids from the west or the youngin's from the US.I think he will be consistent with that.

I think you have some things out of whack. The Flyers have more than 4 picks in the upcoming draft.

As I said, most of my picks were based on the CSB Rankings,I did try to fit in team needs as best as I could, I did try to avoid picking the same positions, although I did make some errors with that. I hope to do a more in-depth mock draft before the real one, I want to do maybe 1 round per blog. As for the Flyers, there are five picks up there; they traded their 2nd round pick to the Capitals, they traded their 3rd round pick to the Kings.

sorry my mistake, there are only 4 Flyers picks up there, however that is correct as they also traded their 5th round pick to the Islanders. You can check all of this information here;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_NHL_Entry_Draft

these are always fun and even just doing a first round draft is cool as you watch how your picks stack up to what goes down live on T.V. I do have one comment though, David Toews is ranked 27th overall by the ISS I personally think, considering the blood lines, he'll go late first/ early second round.

yeah I think Toews will go higher as well, but I was picking according to the CSB Rankings, which had him quite low.
