Jim Dowd's 13th annual Shore High School All-Star Hockey Game between Ocean and Monmouth will be played Sunday at Red Bank Armory in Red Bank.
Tickets for the charity event, which begins at 5:30 p.m., are $10 and will be sold at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Brick Stars “Special Need” Challengers Ice Hockey program.
Dowd is a former Devils and Flyers center who had a lengthy NHL career with several teams.
There will be a 50/50 prize raffle with various NHL signed memorabilia and donated prizes. An official Zach Parise signed jersey will be auctioned, as well as one suite for a 2010-11 Rangers game. Signed Jim Dowd team posters will be available for $25.
The first 400 people in attendance will receive free giveaways.
Officials for the game will be Matt McNulty, Jim Carlucci and Dan Scarafile.
Among those making apearances will be Flyers forward James vanReimsdyk and 2010 Stanley Cup winning assistant coach from the Chicago Blackhawks, Mike Haviland.
