Now that our “Down the Road” segment is out of its misery(Although a Shaouene Moarreissounne article might be coming), I’ve been thinking about what I should write about next. Naturally, as a Sabres blogger, I have absolutely nothing of importance to write about. Unless you want to read about Darcy and Co. talking about how great Kevin Dineen is.
But suddenly, out of nowhere, it hit me! While I was showering today(which is where I do most of my thinking) I thought to myself, “What the hell were the Atlanta owners thinking when they named the team the THRASHERS?!” This thought gradually expanded(That’s what she said) and I thought it would be interesting to take a look at all of the other 29 team names/logos. Without looking at their original meaning, I’ve decided to give my opinion on the NHL and their creativity. I will give grades ranging from A to F, as well as my personal recommendations as to what the team should REALLY be called if they are given a grade of C or lower.
