The New Jersey Devils would like to add a puck-moving defenseman if possible. This is just pure speculation, but you have to believe they would be interested in Marc-Andre Bergeron as he is a cheap and productive option.

Thing is I can actually see this happening when you have nothing for guns on the back end, minus Andy Greene
I don't believe this for a second. MAB is not a puck moving defenseman. He is a defenseman who can one time it and occasionally hits the net. This guy cannot play defense of his life and is made of glass. I'd rather have good players than bad players on my team.
I agree Pomegrant I thought it was a pretty funny rumor...
You want an offensive weapon who is learning to play D, go after Ivan Vishnevskiy as the Hawks don't rate him that high and he is a future Zubov if he can learn to play in his own end. Vish would provide great one timers for Kovy.
