Crosby came back with a bang, and really stole the show last night, but now that that is over, it's time to look forward to the matchup tonight between the Leafs and Lightning.
The Lightning look to extend a win streak against the Leafs to 5 games. Last year around this time I remember watching the two teams play and the Lightning absolutely dominated and played one of the best first periods of hockey I have ever seen live. Back and forth action liek you wouldn't believe. Let's hope for more of that tonight, and less of what we saw against New Jersey, which resulted in some fans bailing on bandwagon (They'll be back...)
Speaking of which, Coach Boucher was obviously not happy with his team in the loss to NJ, and you could see some of that in the various line combination he tried throughout the game. You can bet he is doing everything possible to turn things around against a team in Toronto, that is playing well this year.
Ohlund has been back on the ice and is getting closer to coming back to the lineup, but he will still be out for tonights game, and for a while after that. This presents a problem on the back end, and everyone is going to need to step it up from last game to improve. Without Ohlund, the Bolts seem to have a bit of a drop off beyond Brewer and Hedman although they have been split up into two pairs with gilroy and clark. Looking forward to seeing how the Bolts do in taking on the Leafs, who now have MacArthur in the lineup, and of course, Phil Kessel, the league leader in points and goals.
