Finally The flames living up?

I sure hope the flames had finally found the grove they need to succeed in the west.
I believe they might sneak into 3rd division wise to make a very exciting battle of Alberta and Anaheim slips into the first WC spot considering they almost did nothing at the deadline I would say they managed not to lose it which really is great seeing how it was actually a snore after the 2-3 days before it.
I believe these kids will actually make the future in Calgary very exciting for years to come like in years past battling with Edmonton as I was growing up grez=mcdavid. Not like they are actually the same but similar enough in flames fans eyes as they grew up in the late 80s.
Going forward I hope they sign Bennett not quite the same as Johnny and Sean, similar enough just not the term maybe and the goalie market looks to be rather soft so keeping Elliot might be a good fit 2-3 years or so as for Johnson, I would suggest cutting him loose to roll the dice with a kid that's been drafted for them.
I do believe the battle of Alberta is about to be completely revisited in the near future either this playoffs or next season and hope the flames don't keep losing it.
