Howdy,
Well this sure is a strange turn of events... someone in Hockeybuzz's management has clearly lost their marbles and let a degenerate like me have the keys to the team blogger bathroom. I would really thank Eklund for giving me the opportunity to do this. Not that he was left with any choice after BD threatened to post his next 16 Islander blogs in Braille unless I was made the Ranger team blogger.
For those of you familiar with my forum and chat room goofball banter as "Doctor Teeth", you know this will not be your typical team blog. I’m really ecstatic to be doing this, I never thought the opportunity would come my way, but as word dyslexic Ringo Starr once coined, "Tomorrow Never Knows"
Sharing DNA with the Uniondale Fishfry blogger will have some advantages as well. There will be some special features coming up that we will be doing together and there’s some other insane ideas that are on the backburner. I think despite BD’s severe lack of hockey taste we both are very much on the same page of supporting NY hockey, cause let’s face it, Arod’s bowel movements get a 9 page color spread while Lundqvist’s third shutout barely gets a small 2 column blurb next to the obituaries.
Now that the Muppet mask has been lifted I guess I should share a little bit about me. I grew up in Massapequa, the crown jewel of Long Island, which is much like saying the crown jewel of a seeping, steaming cesspool. Growing up in hostile territory as hockey fan was not easy. Chants of "1940" still plague my nightmares of junior high and high school.
I've pretty much followed every season since I was 12 or 13, in Howard Hughes-esque fashion checking off every game with colored markers with check marks and x's on the schedule sheet. I've also estranged myself from both family and friends demanding score updates during events like say Thanksgiving or family funerals. Hockey is a way of life, for us Gallofs and I feel both honored and fortuitous to be able to share it with all of you.
Cheers,
Scott Gallof (formerly known as Doctor Teeth)

God help us all.BTW, your brilliant CSS reprogramming makes this box white type on white box. I can't even see what I write.
Just what we need...another Gallof. We are all doomed! Seriously though, welcome Scott. You are going to do big things here. Keep it up and congrats! SYF
Whoops, fixed the text box...And thanks SYF! I'll certainly try!
