hasek-the wings payed him a salary for what he did last year not taking into account that hes no chelios and hes 42.hes finished ,maybe a couple games left in him.
OZZIE-the man who should be starting on a regular basis is 9-1 and the 2nd best gaa average in the league{not counting sundays 5-4 win against cbj}.OZZIE is a great goalie SO START HIM.
if they both start to slow down as the year goes on then the wings have 6 million in cap space that kenny holland should use come trade deadline.
here are a few goalies the wings could look at should the need arise.
TURCO-dallas is on the decline and they have a great back up in mike smith and they might need to go with a youth movement/salary dump, considering their core players are aging.
EMERY/GERBER-ottawa has two great goalies and they need help on defense where the wings have no shortage and a deal could be worked out for either one.
VOKOUN-the panther will probably not make the playoffs and would want a package of prospects and draft picks and considering the wings young core im sure that could be arranged.
remember these ideas are only if the situation should arise that we need a goalie who can carry us through to an 11th stanley cup.

They are going to go with Ozzie and Haseket for this year and next. Then Miller is going to sign there.
you can have gerber... Ottawa doesnt need help with D.. we need a second line foreward though.
I love Ozzie, as an islander fan he will always have a special place in my heart
