Did the Cup go to the Ducks heads?

For those of you who don't frequent Ducks games, let me give you a little background on that question. Prior to last season, part of the renovation of the Ponda included expanding what is now called the Jack Daniels Ol' #7 Club on the Club level into a pretty respectible bar. But the greatest thing about it, was that it stays open for a couple hours after every game, and about 45 min after the games would end, you could always count on 7 or 8 of the Ducks players cruising through the bar on their way to their post game meal with their families.
The players would stop, sign autographs, take pictures, and even have short conversations. It was awesome, and I have no doubt, played a major role in increasing fan support, since getting to know these guys made fans feel like an integral part of the team.
Fast forward to this year....Honda Center personnel have taken to blocking off the aisle to the back of the restaurant, and the Ducks players are now coming up to the Club level on that side, and entering the back of the restaurant. No more fraternizing with fans after the games. In fact, the only Ducks I've seen come through the bar are Randy Carlyle twice, and Jiggy and Brian Sutherby once each.
Now, I'm the first guy to stand up for these guys privacy, and if that's the decision they've made, I won't call them out on it. I just think it's a HUGE mistake. I know alot of people who loved the fact that they could get a picture with their favorite player, or even just shake their hand. Denying their fans that chance seems like a bad move to me.

06 OUCH!
It's possible that it was a decision by the staff at the Honda Center. Most Ducks are extremely friendly. That was one of the things I hated about PK.
