I am looking forward to the start of the playoffs like no other year I have followed hockey. The excitement that I feel for the Sabres is incredible. I am a typical Buffalo fan who has a tough time visualizing a championship. We have been disappointed so many times in our lives with our two pro teams, the Sabres and Bills, it makes it hard to jump the gun and assume anything. I think we should just take one game at a time and enjoy the fact that the team we root for is stacked in many ways, but each game is a new opportunity to add a piece to the overall Stanley Cup puzzle.
The games will give me sweaty palms, an increased heart rate, and a nervous stomach. It will be such a rush of excitement before and during each game that it makes me wonder why hockey isn't more of a popular sport in all of the U.S.A.. People who are unaware and disinterested in the sport really don't know what they are missing. The fast pace, energy, and physical components of the game make it like no other sport on the planet!! The Stanley Cup Playoffs are the most intense experience a hockey fan will encounter. To all fans, of all teams, enjoy it and take in the moment. These games are what we have waited for since training camps began in September. Good luck to everyone, with finally, just a bit more luck to the Sabres!!!
Huh, no responses. I'm going to have to take notes on how to write a blog I guess :) Practice will make perfect.
I'm not sure a lot of people have made it over yet. keep writing. readers will come.
