Jones inks two-year contact in Philly

The Flyers have announced that they have come to terms with RFA defenseman Randy Jones. The deal will leave the team with a $2.75 million cap hit and Jones will receive $2.5 million this year and $3 million next year. The contract is a little too much in my opinion, as I thought he should receive $2 million max. This leaves the Flyers with too many defenseman under contract, somethings gotta give. I think Homer will work something out and I suspect Hatch will hang them up as early as tomorrow.
