Stefan Ruzicka signs with Spartak Moscow

Stefan Ruzicka has decided to go back to Europe to play. The Flyers will still retain his rights since the transfer agreement is not in effect. WIth this loss the Phantoms will likely need another forward, I wouldn't be surprised if the Flyers signed one of their prospects in the coming days. Ruzicka is a great AHL player, but never seemed to be able to achieve in the NHL. He wasn't talented enough for the top 6, but he wasn't gritty enough for the bottom 6. I had high hopes for Ruzicka. I thought one day he would be be a regular with 15 goals and 40 points. Hopefully going home does well for him. I think we will see him back next year playing for a team like the Canucks.
