Leafs line combinations, (IMO).

Were nearing the beginning of the season, still no word on sundin, so since hes not on the roster as of now, I won't use him. These are just my thoughts on the way the lines should be.
Line 1- Blake-Antropov-Hagman
I like this combination because it gives blake a chance to get his scoring touch back, it also gives hagman a chance to prove he can score year in and year out.
Line 2- Steen-Stajan-Ponikarovsky
I think this is proper because steen and stajan have played together before, also, many of you might question ponikarovsky being on the second line, but the last 2 years he's played much better than normal, now that could just be because he played with sundin, but we will find out now wont we?
Line 3- Grabovski-Tlusty-Kulemin
This, i'm not so sure about, but at the time being, I would put it this way, grabovski and tlusty are both young, so they will need some more experienced players to play with as the season progresses.
Line 4- Mayers-Bell-DEVERAUX
I pick deveraux to play instead of hollweg because deveraux is an all around player, hollweg might be best in the ahl for now, and if deveraux doesnt play well then he will too.
Defense pairing 1-Kaberle-Finger
Defense pairing 2-Kubina-Stralman
Defense pairing 3-Van Ryn-Colaiacovo

Not too bad, but i don't like the 3 kids together. I think they should be spread out. Make sure that they have at least 1 veteran that is at least a little bit defensive.
Yeah exactly, that's why I said as the season progresses they will need a veteran, but I put the lines that way to make them as skilled as possible.
I could see the young guys line come together latter in the year possibly. After they prove that they belong in the NHL and get accustomed to the league. I wouldn't put them together at the beginning of the year though.
I think that sounds pretty realistic...not inspiring, but realistic!!
Lol, no, it hasnt been much better than this in leaf land in the last 3 years though.
