<b>Gatineau Wins for First Time in 14 Games</b>
<b>Montreal. Saturday, November 15th, 2008.</b> A late game meltdown by the Juniors defense cost Montreal their 12th loss of the season. Looking to build momentum following their 1-0 shutout win over P.E.I. last night,the Juniors instead gave up a 2-1 lead late in the third period, eventually losing 3-2, to the Gatineau Olympiques.
Montreal led 2-1 following the second period on goals by Angelo Esposito and Dmitri Kostromitin, despite being outshot by the Olympiques 26-17. Gatineau's repeatedly attempted to beat Montral netminder Jake Allen. finally succeeding when Paul Byron's 2nd goal of the game evened the score with less than 4 minutes to play in the 3rd period. Nic Boyer scored an unassisted game winner only 43 seconds later, capping the comeback and giving the Olympiques their first win in 14 tries.
With the loss Montreal's record returns to .500, having won 12 and lost 12. The Juniors returned home immediately following the loss to Gatineau as they face the Mocton Wilcats tomorrow afternoon at 4pm at the Verdun Auditorium.
