After a solid effort against one of the easts top teams, the Lightning are ready to overcome their loss and avoid receiving back-to-back losses for only the 2nd time this season. With the help of solid goaltending and a team effort, it's hard not to like the lightning's chances heading into the first battle of these two teams.

Since the loss of Steven stamkos, the lightning participated in a rough road trip to California, losing all 4 games. The Lightning were glad to be back in the forum for the first time in over a week to host the rangers and pens. This being their first game back on the road since the horrid western road swing, bolts nation is hoping for a solid effort and hope the lightning can play to their full potential and walk out with the 2 points.

Recent call up Nikita Kucherov is due for a 3 goal night. This kid is going to be a weapon in the NHL. Having recorded the most scoring opportunities on the team over his past 3 games with the lightning, it's time for him to start capitalizing, and he will. He was one of just 2 players (Drouin) to record over 2 PPG in the QMJHL, and after only 20ish games pro under his belt, his play seems to be translating perfectly to the NHL and is telling Yzerman that he has no business with this "develope with many minutes" plan.

With the help of the "kid" line taking a big step forward, this game is set to be an exciting one to watch. Tyler Johnson has truly evolved into a good NHL centerman, palat has proven himself to be one of our most reliable 2-way guys, and Panik sucks. Just joking, he just needs to start scoring goals, and soon because Kucherov is on the rise.

The jackets are coming into Tuesdays game looking to bounce back from a rocky start to the season. The Jackets have not been receiving the high caliber goaltending that bobrovsky gave them just last season. Don't let the 5-7-1 home record fool you, the Lightning's road record is not much better, and although not a superstar start to the season, Bobrovsky is capable of stealing a game at any moment, and with the recent acquirement of Marian Gaborik, this game could get interesting and fast.

With the lightning boasting one of the better records in the east, they hope to add to the separation in the standings with this game and remain one of the top teams. With a rocky start without stammer, The lightning have done a great job sticking to the system and getting things done without Stamkos. They have grown in his absence and will only be better when he returns. Holding a 4-4-1 record post stamkos, the lightning hope to improve that record to over .500 . Even with an even record, the Lightning have played well against a few of the leagues top caliber teams without their superstar and could have came out with the win just as easily .

The official lines have not been released but the lightning line up should be similar to these as stated below:

Kucherov Hedman Namestnikov
Stamkos Johnson Carle
Lindback Wilcox Vasilevsky
St Louis Thompson Panik

Palat Crombeen
Salo Brown
Gudas Koekkoek
Aulie Bishop

Janus
Backing up Janus will be NCAA superstar Matthew Pecca

Heres to a good game. GO BOLTS
