"Sabres fan out here on the West Coast"
Bothell, WA • United States •
Unfortunately, due to the real circumstances in the greater Buffalo area, many of us have to watch this playoff run from a distance. Since I was a kid, I've been a crazy superstitious person. Well, today is the day of change. I have to get my haircut, go get my Lipton Green Tea, get some extra laundry soap cause there is going to have to be extra laundry done, etc. This is the first year that I have spent away from the city and I can't lie, it's killing me a little bit. It's hard to get the feel for what the town is like, so I ask you. Give me a taste of what it's like there. I want to feel like I'm there in the city. Please help me out!

Thanks and I look forward to hearing your responses.

The best way to describe it here is excited, anxious but with a great amount of cautious optimism. This is after all Buffalo the land of playoff disappointments. Most people think this should be the year and with Drury and/or Briere possibly leaving really need to seize the moment. Heve fun it should be a good ride!

I feel your pain, I am not as far away as you but I wouldn't have made it through the year without the NHL package....I think I managed to watch every single game.

i totally know where you're coming from. there's nothing quite like buffalo during hockey season, and especially into the playoffs. (lol, it makes me miss home!)
