Flames need Jagr

The calgary flames need a top line RW that's no surprise but where can they find it? Look no further then the ageless wonder, Jaromir Jagr would fit the bill perfectly. He played with young talented players in Florida putting up very respectable numbers for a guy that is in his mid 40's. Whether Jagr is on the flames radar remains a mystery, but one could argue the flames should be targeting the veteran.
Jagr is a freak of nature, his lowest point total since coming back to the NHL was 35 in a lockout shortened season. He has put up 40+ points since then playing alongside young talent. There is no reason to believe he is going to fall off the cliff being he works extremely hard in the off-season to stay in shape. He's not your typical athlete his work ethic and drive is what makes him such a great addition to a young team full of talent ( who knows maybe Jagr is just what a player like Bennett needs to get going ).
His possession numbers are very respectable as well. He drives possession numbers up and the flames were one of the better possession teams the last part of the season, adding a guy like Jagr would only bump those numbers up even more. Last but not least ( no disrespect to ferland ) Jagr will be able to create more space for Monahan and gaudreau. Ferland is a good young player but Jagr is the kind of player that will have the defence keying on him hence creating the space for Monahan and gaudreau I may not be able to spit out the analytics like some can but there's one thing I do know, it doesn't take a genius to understand the style of play Jagr brings is exactly what the top line of the flames need. Someone that drives possession up and can also put up points that can take a lot of weight off johnny and monny.

Like jagr but not sure the Flames really need him! Treliving has done a lot of good things but free agency isn't one of them! Jagr at 1 million/season I can live with but Jagr at the rumoured 3 million/ season is too much, imo. Would rather promote from with in, Jankowski, Klimchuk, Mag, these guys deserve a shot. Who knows a clean and focused Poirier may surprise a few.

why is that? he's really nothing more than a 4th liner who eats during the game, unlike Vincent Trochek who's probably gonna be traded to the Atlanta Thrashers.
Jankowski could flip Bennett to the wing where Bennett had more success in the league and how is Jagr not a top line winger why can't he produce look at who he was playing with in Florida guys he can still keep up no need to worry about that he spent time with barkov and huberduea he isn't your typical athlete like I say
