I have had enough of this talk that somehow Patrice Bergeron is to blame for the Randy Jones hit. This is a case of media members trying to make themselves part of the story. See Don Cherry and his idiotic comments http://www.cbc.ca/sports/...your_head_down_in_th.html
. Bob Mckenzie writes that the prevailing opinion outside of Boston is that Patrice Bergeron contributed to his "own demise" http://www.tsn.ca/blogs/mckenzie/?id=221637
. I doubt that these opinions are the prevailing opinion anywhere outside of Philadelphia, a place that is currently leading the country in murders http://inquirer.philly.co...aphics/homicide_map_2007/
and hockey suspensions so what else would you expect. I really do not have a problem with the Jones getting 2 games but let's stop blaming the victim here.
The news from Chiarelli today that Patrice needed a wheelchair to get to the Garden yesterday and that he cannot carry on a conversation for more than a few minutes does not bode well for his chances of playing again this year. That's too bad considering the unexpected start the Bruins (thanks Tim Thomas) have put together.
