Kings of Last Place

While yes the Kings clearly have goaltending issues that need solving that may not be the big issue. The big issue takes place in front of LaBarbera, Aubin, or one of those rookies who just got called up from Manchester. They onloy have three guys who can score!!!! Kopitar, Cammy, and Brown can put pucks in the net and then no one else comes close except O'Sullivan who came over in a bold move. While O'Sullivan is starting to prove himself, Demitra is a goal scorer and we need that. While the goaltenders are letting four goals its not like the forwards are putting three or two. The defense has also seem to gone south. Visnovksy, Blake, and Preissing are not scoring from the blueline and they're not helping defending in their own zone. Granted Blake, Handzus, Calder, Cloutier, LaBarbera, Nagy, and more have all been injured or have been recoving from injuries this season and are fighting through it. Handzus has gotten better and is scoring for the first time in awhile. The Kings need to stop signing midlevel guys and spend some money and stop letting Jason Blake, Legace, Lang, and Corvo get away and sign Drury and Souray and trade for Vokoun. Signing Esche is not the answer, developing Bernier is. Live with Cloutier or Aubin/LaBabera.
