It's been rainy and thundery in Jersey today and it was rainy and thundery for Ben Smith of the Chicago Blackhawks. A preview of the Winter Classic

Well this should be interesting being this is my first blog on this site, but I am ready to be criticized. The Winter Classic is obviously a long way off from today's date, but I don't see why we can't talk about it now. Best Hockey Memories

I remember going to the old practice space of the Devils at South Mountain arena. They happened to be there while my dad and I were skating a public session on the other ice surface. After we were done we went to go watch them play. Keep in mind I was very young, but I waved to Marty and he raised his goal stick towards me. It brought the biggest smile on!

When I am playing forward I typically compare to David Clarkson and Nick Palmeiri. When I am on defense I compare to any d-man that checks hard in the corner and drives the puck out with their body more than anything else.
