The leafs did the best possible thing they could have done yesterday. They went fishing in the pool of free agents and did not try to snag the fish that would not bite.

Why LA passed on Schneider when he was on waivers

Since Schneider was placed on waivers by the ducks and then clearing waivers there has been debate about why some teams, mainly why the Kings did not pick him up. I as well as a few others felt that it was because LA would rather trade for him.
