Time To Move On

When GM Mike Gillis was hired not more than two months ago, I felt a sigh of relif. Not a lot of Canuck fans have filled the bandwagon here on the left coast, however, Gillis promised "bold" moves and yesterday he delivered a "bold" move.
WOW a GM in Vancouver sticking to his guns. For several years here we constantly heard "we were close"; "we almost had him" or "the market is too expensive"....

So while Derek Boogaard sat on the Minnesota Wild bench and took the rare (and I stress...rare) shift Pinky and the Brain went to work. Boogey as the Wild faithful tend to refer to him, finished the game with a roughly 4:00 minutes of ice-time while Pinky and the Brain tallied 2 assists each enroute to helping their Captain Markus Naslund record his 10th career hat-trick as a Vancouver Canuck....

It's been awhile, whatelse can I say. In the busy life that I lead, I have been unable to follow the Canucks as closely as I have in past season. So far this season it seems to be a good thing. With that being said it seems that we will all be looking for "other things" to occupy our minds while the Canucks play out what appears to be a rather dissmal season.
