So I realize a lot of people like to crap on the All-Star Game because it has no meaning, no intensity, and nobody really cares about it anymore. But I like it, I always have. Why? Because it’s an NHL event and I enjoy watching hockey players display their talents and I love seeing different players from different teams playing and interacting with each other. I like watching amazing players on the same line, imagining seeing them playing together wearing the colours of the team I cheer for. On that note, I’ve put together a tentative line-up for both Team Alfredsson and Team Chara and what their forward lines and defense pairings might look like come this Sunday. Let me know your thoughts, predictions and suggestions.

Team Alfredsson

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Alfredsson
Michalek - Spezza - Stamkos
Neal - Giroux - Hartnell
Couture - Tavares - Pominville

Karlsson - Weber
Yandle - Letang
Edler - Girardi

Lundqvist
Quick
Elliott

Team Chara

Hossa - Malkin - Gaborik
Lupul - Datsyuk - Kessel
Kane - Perry - Iginla
Benn - Seguin - Eberle

Chara - Timonen
Suter - Phaneuf
Campbell - Wideman

Thomas
Price
Howard

My prediction: Team Chara wins.
MVP: Malkin
