Both trade calls went through and both were accepted. But with some of those draft picks in today's draft, these trades weren't completed done until today. And so, with the players picked, who wins? First, it needs too be summarized:

To Boston :
Tomas Kaberle
Jared Knight
Tyler Segiun
Dougie Hamilton

To Toronto:
John-Michael Liles
Tyler Biggs
Phil Kessel
Joe Colborne

Most people are saying Boston wins. But do they really?

Boston got there puck moving defenseman, but it doesn't seem as if he really got comfortable in a Boston uniform. Scoring just 1 goal and nine points in 24 regular season games and 11 points in 25 playoff games. Boston also got Jared Knight. Too early too judge, because he hasn't played more then 3 games as pro. But, in his three games with Providence he did register 2 assists. Tyler Seguin was the best thing for Boston out of these two deals. In his rookie campaign, as a third/second line centre he scored 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists). Imagine what he'll do as a number two centre for a full year. The last piece too Boston was drafted friday night 8th overall. Dougie Hamilton. He will be something great for this team one day, but just like Jared, too early too tell.

Toronto got a replacement puck moving defenseman Tomas Kaberle by trading the second round pick in the Boston trade too colorado for 30 year old John-Michael Liles. Liles had 6 goals and 46 points for Colorado last year. The biggest piece in the Kaberle Trade for Toronto was 20 year old centre Joe Colborne. Colborne turned it up for the Marlies once coming here. Scoring 16 points in 20 games. And at the draft Friday, Toronto selected Tyler Biggs. An 18 year old six foot two, two hundred and ten pound right wing from the United States National Development Program. Tyler Biggs would make and of those Bruins player cry too there mom's if they went one on one in the corner with Biggs. Thats why he's special. And finally, the big piece of it all. Phil Kessel. Kessel was worth it. Scoring 65 points in 82 games for Toronto last year, Kessel is one centre away from being a 40 goal scoring and a 75 point player. And keep in mind, he's only 23.

So who won? Well....
Kaberle - Liles > Liles wins.
Seguin - Kessel > Kessel Wins.
Hamilton- Colborne > Colborne Wins.
Knight - Biggs > Biggs. (Knight wont scored if biggs is on him)
