All For nothing?

The stir up the Kevin Lowe has caused has made fans all across the league wounder why and get angry. I my self as a Sabres fan wounder why but for a tottaly diffrent reason. Why if your going to go through all this trouble to take a player from a team not make it a markey player as in a Thomas Vanek or a Zach Parise? He lost out on Vanek cause the sabres matched but still you walk away with Dustin Penner for about double the price you should be paying him. Make an offer to Parise or Cammalari before he decides to go to arbitration. those are players that will make the oilers a contender before Dustin Penner.

what do you think?

I think this needs to be put to bed .... Darcy will not make any more moves , as he has stated numerous times in the past week. If by some miracle a move was made, look for Spacek to be dealt for a winger, or a solid 3rd line center.

I think that they wwere in the market for a goakl scorer and someone with size Penner fits the bill. As for you wondering why he didn't go after Camaleri or Parise it was because he was still searching through UFA at the time and the RFA was a last ditch attempt to better his team. While he was looking to sign UFA's the devils and kings put mike and zack to arbitration to keep them off the group 2 sheets.

You are right metman, if your going to go big...GO BIG...not Penner big, but actual talented forward big. Or go big and go home...Vanek didn't work...go back and chase next years crop.
