Well fellow losers, we come to that time of year again where we expect to turn off the hockey games early. After all, the amazing season and President's Cup win means zilch, zip and nada as we suffer another humiliating loss to the Quacks of Anaheim. You have to hand it to the Ducks though. They pulled a mediocre season into a great run so far. Hiller has been amazing and numerous asundry players such as Getzlaf, Perry and others step it up a notch and show how much heart they have to win it all again. Frankly though, I don't give a crap. My Sharks, the same ones I poured my heart and soul and 12 years of season tickets money out of my wallet into choked once again.

I know there are other such franchises out there, you know who you are. I don't need to belittle you. After all, I know exactly how you feel. Just understand that there are now numerous fans from the Bay Area and beyond who know exactly how you feel. How do you cope? How do you somehow wake up the next day and pour yourself another cup of hope the next day? How long does it hurt? Does it still hurt?

All questions, that have been running through my puny little mind lately. When does expectations meet reality? Will we ever be redeemed? More questions you ask? Only until I gaze upon the Lord Stanely's cup will I ever run out of questions.

All I can do now is to wait for the expected team blowup, and drown my sorrows into a pint or two of Haagen Daaz coffee flavored ice cream. It's the only thing that satisfies my aching heart. Please feel free to leave your own post-mortem here.

God's speed and may the hockey gods shine upon you more so than they did for me...

- I bleed teal and it's a bloodbath right now.

Well you guys have 20 more years to try and catch us for futility :( Keep your head up at least you have most of the pieces in place, just need a better leader, and some guys on the 3rd and 4th lines who will go through a wall for him.

Some of us who you haven't named do indeed know how you feel. :-(

Iguess in terms of the league, we are a short lived misery, but as you all know, it still hurts the same. I am left with an empty feeling deep down in my gut. Bleeeck!

Ducks had a taste of success in 2003. It took a complete team blow up by Burke to take it to the next level. Only 2 players left on the Ducks from the 2003 team. I think there were 4 players on the 2007 team that were also with the team in 2003.

Got to admire them Itlan. At least they recovered and are making the nhl shake. Kudos to the Quacks! Sharks just bite!
