I'm going to be doing a similar thing that rags2riches did but for the Canucks. In part 1 I will outline the projected lines (as of now - will update if any major trades or free agent signings happen between now and the beginning of the season). I will then profile each player on each line. I may also do this for every team because I know the NHL pretty well.

Line 1

Daniel Sedin (81 GP 36 G 48 A 84 Pts +19) - Henrik Sedin (82 GP 10 G 71 A 81 Pts +19) - Taylor Pyatt (76 GP 23 G 14 A 37 Pts +5)

Line 2

Markus Naslund (82 GP 24 G 36 A 60 Pts +3) - Brendan Morrison (82 GP 20 G 31 A 51 Pts -9) - Ryan Shannon (53 GP 2 G 9 A 10 Pts -2)

Line 3

Matt Cooke (81 GP 10 G 20 A 30 Pts E) - Ryan Kesler (48 GP 10 G 16 A 26 Pts +1) - Brad Isbister (19 GP 1 G 4 A 5 Pts +5)

Line 4

Alexandre Burrows (81 GP 3 G 6 A 9 Pts -7) - Byron Ritchie (64 GP 8 G 6 A 14 Pts +3) - Jeff Cowan (63 GP 7 G 5 A 12 Pts +3)

Defense

Willie Mitchell (62 GP 1 G 10 A 11 Pts +1) - Kevin Bieksa (81 GP 12 G 30 A 42 Pts +1)

Mattias Ohlund (77 GP 11 G 20 A 31 Pts -3) - Sami Salo (67 GP 14 G 23 A 37 Pts +21)

Aaron Miller (82 GP 0 G 8 A 8 Pts -14) - Lukas Krajicek (78 GP 3 G 13 A 16 Pts -4)

Can't imagine they won't add something to that second line, that will move shannon to the third line and isbister will probably see the press box
